I just took my gate out of the box and noticed there is a gap between the handle and the gate. Is this a defect?
This is NOT a defect, it’s just the way your pressure mounted gate looks before it’s installed. Once installed properly, the gate will align and the gap will decrease. To ensure the gate is properly installed, please refer to the Instruction Manual associated with your gate.
Is it okay to pressure mount my gate at the top of a staircase?
To prevent falls, never use a pressure mount gate at the top of the stairs.
How many extensions can I use on a gate?
For our pressure mounted gates, it is strongly recommended that you only use two extensions at a time. If you would like to use more than two extensions, you must use the wall cups that were included with your gate. You can only use a maximum of 3 extensions on a pressure mount gate.
Where can I purchase extensions for my Regalo gate?

Are additional extensions available for every gate?
Unfortunately not. Please refer to our extensions page to see if extensions are available for your gate.
What should I do if my product breaks?
Discontinue use immediately and contact the retailer where you purchased your gate to arrange a return or replacement.
Are the spindle rods supposed to thread into the holes or slide in?
The spindle rods do not thread into the holes. The rods will slide into the holes on the side of your gate. You then spin the knobs on the spindle rods to pressurize your gate.
What is your warranty policy?
We offer a 6-month warranty on all of our products. If your product is damaged, please email our customer care team at globalsupport@regalo-baby.com. If you intentionally alter or disfigure you product in any way your warranty is void.
